Robert Busby, owner of the Creole Gallery in Lansing, MI, was reported missing on Feb 27. On Feb 28, police found his body in the basement of the venue he founded.

"Robert was an extraordinary community leader, a talented artist and a trailblazing entrepreneur who led the rebirth of Lansing's original downtown," said a statement issued by the Lansing mayor's office.

01/18/07 | Randy Napoleon Trio to Perform on BBC Radio: Friday Night is Music Night
The Randy Napoleon Trio will appear at the Mermaid Theatre in London for BBC's top weekly music show, Friday Night is Music Night, on January 11. The live performance will be recorded and will air Jan 19th on BBC2 (88-91FM) 7.30pm GMT. Randy Napoleon will also give an interview to TIME 106.6, which covers the London Heathrow Airport, the whole of Berkshire, and most of Buckinghamshire.

Azica Records has released Randy Napoleon's new CD, Between Friends. The CD is available now at amazon.com, CDUniverse.com, CDconnection.com and other online outlets as well as in many Borders stores.

The CD, a mix of standards and originals, features Benny Green on piano, David Wong on bass, Quincy Davis on drums, and Jared Gold on hammond b3 organ.
